A-Men
The “A-Men” Men’s Ministry of First Baptist Church exists to reach men of our community with a credible offer of the Gospel of Jesus, give them the opportunity to receive Jesus as their personal savior, disciple and grow them into the likeness of Jesus, and help them find places of service and ministry in and outside of First Baptist Church.We accomplish this by personal one-on-one witnessing and mentoring, attending seminars twice a year outside our church (e.g., Woodstock First Baptist Church Men’s Event and Promise Keepers), teaching discipleship through short-term studies in our church, providing opportunities of service and outreach to our community (annual Wild Game Dinner and Men’s Fishing tournament), and a monthly men’s luncheon, which provides a time of growth and inspiration.
We believe that our ministry should help the men of our church to be all that God has already made them to be in their homes, community and church.
